Graeme visited VAKI Headquarters in Iceland
recently. He has been working for Marine Harvest Scotland for many years
as a Production Planner.
His fellow countryman and one of VAKI‘s key personnel, David
Jarron hosted the visit and gave him a tour of the company and
presented VAKI’s product range.
The purpose of Graeme’s visit was mainly to learn more on
analysing and using the information from the Biomass Daily System.
The System offers accurate data to ensure
optimal decisions regarding planning harvest, sales price for each time,
appropriate delivery and real time comparisons between cages and sites.
All this information gives great support in the decision-making
process.
We at VAKI were also very fascinated to hear his
expectations of a system of this kind and industry experience in fish
farming. We would like to thank him for the visit and hope to see him
again soon.
